The Point

My intentions are twofold. First being personal. Provide a source of Intellectual honesty behind ever trade I do. The second is to help eliminate the noise. We are all skewed by political beliefs and deeply embedded personal narratives. Confirmation bias is defined as the tendency to interpret new evidence as confirmation of one's existing beliefs or theories. We read articles that support our views, go to websites that align with our bias and watch television shows that tell us why the other side is wrong. My goal is to provide the facts from my seat. Price action is the most powerful tool we have in dissecting broad-based, long term trends. As with all markets. You are only as good as your last trade. Therefore I have very strong opinions, that are weakly held. I allow price action to dictate if I am right or wrong. I will happily switch sides. That said, I believe this will help all of you see the world from a non-bias lens that will lead to profitability.

This is a non-subscription based site. Therefore, I will write when I damn well please with no formal construction. There will be longer thought pieces, shorter notes on published data, a ton of chart visuals, trades I put on and will most definitely not be delivered in a daily format. Do not expect grammatical accuracy and my spelling is suspect at best.

We will cover a wide range of topics across all financial markets. Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities, Equities, Economic data, etc. I will express little to no political views, so spare me yours. I expect most of you to disagree with my views, but I will save you the effort of complaining to me because I simply do not care.

As we move forward together, I truly hope to make you smile as we try to figure out this world. As the old wall street saying goes, "Bulls make money, Bears make money and Pigs get slaughtered.". I hope this to be a profitable venture.
